A Radio interview for GAME
We went to the local radio station Onda Cero for an interview about the Erasmus + Project: GAME
Questions for the Radio Interview 17 February 2017
1/ What is the first visit of the projects Erasmus plus in
this year 2017?
Rita: the first visit we will do is to Marupes, a city close
to the capital of Latvia-Riga. We will go on one April day and back nine and so
link the activity with the Easter
holidays.
This visit was intended to March but due to the bad weather
that has come this winter in Central Europe has been postponed to April
2 / I heard that one of your logos is going to represent the
project at European level. How was that?
Marine: each one of
the six centers that participate in this project, Latvia, Greece, Italy, Spain
and two centres of Romania presented two logos for the contest.
It was established an online voting in which each school could
issue thirty votes, among teachers and students
At our Center, we selected two logos, one of them, created by
Olaya Guerrero, won and now it will appear in all the project documentation,
website etc.
3 / and as we have here the creator of the logo, Olaya
Guerrero, tell us a little bithow you had the idea.
Olaya Guerrero: I based on the project title: Genius and
mission in Education, whose initials form the word GAME. Almost all logos in my
school were focused on the theme of video games, which is the first thing that
comes to mind when you hear these words.
I had the idea of creating figures that form the word GAME
and which seem to be playing.
For them colors, I base on the selection that the Italian
school chose to illustrate the name of th eproject.
And... well... people liked my logo and voted for it.
4 / What activities
are you doing for this visit to Latvia
within the GAME project?
The three visits of
the project which include students are based on ellaborating "missions"
The Mission of Latvia is entitled "Let's design
inclussion" and is based on the knowledge of all to all.
Whe are developing a trivial with questions and answers from
all countries, questions like: what is the capital of Latvia or which is the
currency in Rumania
At the same time that we create the questionnaires and with the help of the
Department of technology of the Institute we are creating a giant puzle. Each country will decorate its puzzle with
something of the project and we chose the logo Olaya created.
When the puzzle is completed now by the end of February and
have questions ready cards, we will gather to "play a European game of "
trivial questions of geography, culture, shows, Sport etc.
The person who guess one of the questions will catch a piece
of the puzzle and will be placing it and so on until we finish the giant puzzle
all together.
This activity is to be performed on an individual basis in
each participating school and then in International teams during the visit to
Latvia.
5/ Who are going to participate in this activity?
Six students of the third year will take part in the visit:
Rita, Olaya, Ruben, Nahuel, marine and I and we will be accompanied by two
teachers of the school, Sebas and Raquel
It is a very nice trip because apart from spending two days
in Riga, the capital of Lithuania, we are going to live with families, to
participate in sports and cultural activities with students from Lithuania,
Greece, Italy and Romania.
Also we will be able to attend class, visit the Town Hall and
have fun!
Meeting and spending time with other European students like
us is the most beautiful part of these projects
